Equipotential Bond
The standards say that lightning rod grounding and building grounding should be combined. All conductors remaining inside the structure (chimney, shields, telecommunication or electrical cables) must be combined with a conductor with a cross section of min 16 mm2 for copper and 50 mm2 for steel using equipotential bonding busbars. Unshielded telecommunication or electrical cables must be connected to the down conductor with a surge arrester.
